“Update: the seller addressed my concerns ( see below). Left: initial product received with defect (cracked) Right: resent product. Thank you! Item came damaged after delayed shipping and delivery. I seller was reasonable to pay for tariff but item was damaged. Notified seller, received reply that he’ll resent the item but since that reply, I’ve inquired the update, but no reply..”

II The light
See it in the evening, not only in daylight.
Warm 3000K light goes straight down onto the island. Switch the kitchen to evening, then try the brightness your control option allows.
Brightness depends on the control you choose above.
III The length
Measure the table, not the room.
Choose a Simplux about 60 cm shorter than your table, so it ends roughly 30 cm in from each end.
cm
Our suggestion
150 cm
Hang it so the bottom sits about 75–85 cm above the table top. The cable adjusts up to 1 m.
IV The engineering
Drawn around the LED, then shaped in oak.
Before any oak is cut, the light is engineered: an aluminium profile draws heat away from the LED, which is what lets it run for more than 50,000 hours.
